I have an ASUS tablet that is now a couple of years old, running Android 4.2.2. The GPS has stopped working. I have tried various "fixes" from the net but to no avail. I have tried starting in "Safe Mode" but it doesn't work. I have installed "GPS Essentials" which cannot "see" any satellites. Can anyone suggest a way to get my GPS working again. Thanks

Which ASUS tablet? If it's not working in Safe Mode, then it's either a firmware problem or a hardware problem with the GPS radio. A factory reset is probably your next step, but it probably won't help.
