Android Central Question

In my gallery, I cannot scroll and see all my photos. The only one I see is the one I click on. The rest are black. However, if I hit edit on one of the black photos, then that photo appears. Any suggestions on how to fix this? It was not this way till I downloaded all my photos, and the erased the ones from the gallery.

The ones you see before taping are thumbnails - evidently they're all gone.

Try copying all the pictures to a PC, then deleting them all on the phone. Turn the phone off. Turn the phone back on. (That short time is years in computer time.) Then copy all the pictures back to the phone. (The pictures are probably in a folder named DCIM. Make a folder on the desktop - it doesn't matter what you name it - or even if you name it - and drag everything in DCIM to that folder. Then delete, turn off, etc.

Once the phone is back on, copy everything in that folder back to DCIM. Restart the phone. Now you should see everything in Gallery again.
