Phone is constantly hot, sometimes restarts itself while working with it.

Hello everybody.

I have a old Samsung S5. The main issue is that it's constantly hot and a lot of times warm. Restarts randomly without me touching anything... I don't know what is happening and i'm afraid that I will need to buy a new phone..

Unless it's the battery (you can tell - pop the back cover off - when the phone gets hot, pop the battery out and hold it. If that's wehat's getting hot, you'll know it. If something in the phone is also getting hot, that's what's causing the battery to gt hoe, if the phone itself is cool, it's a bad battery), you probably will by buying another phone. An S5 is worth under $100 these days - repairing what's causing it to get hot will cost more.
