    I've had my Samsyng Galaxy S8+ for about over half a year. I moved to a new place so the network is very bad and I don't have Wi-Fi. So I was messing around with my Network Mode settings which was originally set to LTE/3G/2G (auto connect) so I changed it to 2G only, then 3G only, then 2G/3G only then finally back to LTE/3G/2G (auto connect). When I did that I got the notification and it's not been working. It's been about 20 minutes.

    Turn the phone off, give it about 5 minutes, turn it on and give it an hour. If it still doesn't pick up service and you know that you have enough signal for service, bring the phone to your carrier. (If you have no service from your carrier, but you have a signal from some other carrier, you can still make emergency calls. Emergency calls have to be handled, the tower equipment shouldn't even be looking at your SIM number [which is how the tower equipment identifies your phone - it doesn't use the phone number].)
