Why wont my computer wont recognize my phone?

My lg stylo 2 plus wont connect to my computer. It only charges it, but wont pop up as a usb. Ive tried intalling some driver s, ive messed with devloper options and changed it from charge only to mtp media transer, ive used multiple cables, nothing works. Please help

Bad cable? Bad USB port in the phone? (There are 4 wires - 2 for charging, 2 for data. If one of the data connections or wires is bad, the phone will charge, but you won't see it in the computer.)
