Android Central Question

I have encrypted an Android 5.1 phone. After competing the process, it asked me to draw the pattern to start the phone, however the entire pattern box is smaller than my pinky finger. That is, there is no spacing between the dots, they are all touching each other and are placed in top-left corner of the screen. Just like one of those mane icons that you get in the apps, similarly sized too.

There is zero chance of me drawing the pattern correctly. Just placing the finger nearby vibrates the phone a couple of times, meaning two or more points get activated straight away. This is a default launcher, as far as I know, too.

So the question is: can anything be done here? Is there some accessibility mode that can be triggered where I can zoom in on the pattern? Maybe some way to connect to the phone from PC and change the pattern to something simpler to enter there?

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone do you have? If that's truly the pattern entry grid, then something is seriously messed up. Can you take a picture of that screen and post it? http://forums.androidcentral.com/ge...ide-how-post-screenshots-android-central.html (you'll have to use another device to take a picture of the screen, since you presumably can't take a screenshot while the phone is in that lockscreen.)

You'll have to register on this forum first to post an image. https://forums.androidcentral.com/a...in-android-central-community.html#post3754828
