My phone has not been any water and it keeps saying moisture detected in charging port. It will not charge at all.
I have turned off fast charge, put it in rice, used a hair dryer on it, used a vacuum on it, cleared the cache and data. It does not even charge when I use the wireless charger.

I am going to through this away as I am getting so annoyed with it, as I believe it is a software issue and nothing to do with actual moisture in the charging port.

Yes, I suppose it could be software, or hardware, or even moisture. A phone does not have to be near obvious water to become water-damaged: there is atmospheric moisture, for example.
