Why do I have pop up ads on my straight talk phone every time I open it?

After not having my phone in use for a while, ads will pop up the moment I open it again? It's VERY annoying and I'm afraid I'll get a virus or that my information is being stolen from my phone.

Sounds like you have an app on your phone that is allowing the popups.

Also could be a tab open in your Chrome browser that needs to be closed. Open Chrome and make sure that you don't have any tabs open. Then, go into settings. Look for your app list. Go into Chrome and clear the app cache.
