Android Central Question

It shows up in the top left of my LG6 G6 next to the AT&T symbol, but every time I unlock the phone it shows that it is using the battery.

When I go to Apps in settings it doesn't show it there but I can click on the notification and it takes me to the app, the Disable and the Force Stop is Grayed out. This is very ignoring and it only started yesterday when I was doing some easy clean up in Apps and when I clicked on it just to see what it was this started. Yes I had no idea what this app was.

How do I hide it?

If it's not running, then if you get an email, it never gets to Exchange, so you never see it. Email apps have to either poll the server periodically to see if there are any new emails, or remain in a receptive state to get emails as they're sent. Remaining ina receptive state uses a lot less battery than polling, unless you can set the app to poll every 12 hours or so (which means that you may not get an email until 12 hours after it was sent).
