Android Central Question
I would like to use a second Android device (an old phone) as a wifi direct camera. I would like to be able to view what my old phone sees on the screen of my main phone. I have installed a fairly popular app named Alfred Home Security Camera, and it does what I want, minus a wifi direct connection. Why do I need wifi direct? Well, I live in a rural area, and there are a lot of places where I have zero signal.
Is there such an app out there? I have looked a lot, and I haven't had any luck. I would prefer not having to root, but if it is my only good option, so be it. If there are no apps that will do this, are there any moderately inexpensive cameras that will support this? I will be using this for hiking/ camping, so I would want something fairly small and light.
Thanks in advance for any help!
