LG V35 lock screen notifications

So I recently traded in my LG V20 for the LG V35 at AT&T. I love the upgrades and am happy with the phone. However, one of the reasons I upgraded was because my V20 would reset some features back to default settings either at midnight or when the phone was powered off and then back on. The one feature I don't like on is the lock screen notifications but every morning it is turned back on. So every morning I have to go through settings into lock screen and change it from show all notifications back to hide all notifications. Well i thought it was the V20 not working correctly but the V35 is doing the same thing. Is there something I'm missing? Why does it keep resetting?
