My samsung j7 prime ( non removable battery) has a broken power button so I was advised to keep it on or keep it charge because of the issue but my brother played with it without my consent that obviously drained the battery. Now its charging but i can't turn it on! HELP

Is there an objection to having it repaired?

Id the physical button broken? Or is the button there, but it doesn't do anything?

If the button is broken, you'll have to replace it eventually, so take the pieces out and you should find a little thing under it to push. Use a small piece of plastic (like a swizzle stick) with the end broken off, then sanded into a smooth round shape with a kind of flat end. (You don't want anything that conducts electricity, and you don't want anything sharp.)

If the button is still in one piece and just doesn't work, your only option is to have it repaired. You can't use any app to turn it on, because the phone has to be on for the app to be running.
