    I have a galaxy 7 and the new updates are terrible, how can I go back.

    There's no "back", you have to flash whatever firmware you're talking about. Nougat? But that installs factory fresh Nougat, so you'll have to back everything up first, then restore it all once you flash Nougat. And root the phone, so you can turn off automatic update. And not complain when some virus, which Google has already come out with a patch for, destroys your phone. (That's the main reason for updates - 10 of them since Oreo came out, but only 2 of them were version updates, the rest were exploit patches.)
