A
Android Central Question
Trying to use the google/android messages app to send regular text messages (the one that recently got Messages From Web - but that's not a factor here).
When I hit send on my phone, it says "Sending..." under the message. The messages are actually sending (the recipient has gotten them), but the "Sending" status never goes away. In fact, it often says it failed and to "tap to retry".
I've restarted, made sure I'm using the latest version of the app from the Play store, but still no luck. I haven't tried deleting cache or uninstalling app. I think this has always happened since I got the phone (so it's not any type of recent corruption). I switched to try other SMS apps and have had no problems with any of them.
Using Honor 8/Android 7.0.
Any thoughts? Thanks!
