I just got a new Galaxy s9 plus and whenever I download pictures from Google it doesn't show up in any of my files. Please help. Where are they?

Welcome to Android Central! If you download images from within the Google app itself (i.e., tapping the Google search bar widget, or from your Google feed), those images get saved to a protected system directory called /document, which can only be accessed by the Google app. But if you open Chrome, then go to google.com, then do your image search there and download the image, it will go to the /Download directory and can be accessed by the user. Don't ask me why they do it that way.

Actually, I just learned this solution from RocThrower: https://forums.androidcentral.com/sh...=1#post6324010. All you have to do is turn on Storage permission for the Google app!
