Push Notifications

I have a new Samsung Galaxy A8. I was wondering why my emails take so long to come through. I receive an email on my ipad and about 15 minutes later it arrives on the phone. I can't work out how to speed this up. The notifications button is on, I have removed it from power save and sync is on. Help please?

Check for the amount of time between times the email app checks for emails. (It sounds as if you have it set for 15 minutes or more.) Set it to 0 and it should get push notification.
