How can I stop the "unfortunately, DCMprovider has stopped" message from recurring?

I have read the threads from 2014 and 2015, watched the Youtube video, know how to force the stop/restart my phone. Have even done the cache partition wipe. I am not using wi-fi (this is supposedly a wi-fi app) and it won't go away. I have a Samsung s5. It is working fine in all other ways, so please don't tell me to get a new phone.
