This old phone does not have a SIM card, but I would like for my current phone to be able to connect to it when I get in the car as if the old phone was the car's Android based Bluetooth system.

Is this possible? Old phone is an Honor 5X running Android 6.

In order for it to work as a phone, it would have to have a SIM card. (The only calls it could make without one would be emergency calls - 911 in North America, 112 in the EU, etc. and it can't receive calls - incoming calls are sent to the SIM number associated with your phone number) If you mean to use the Honor 5X as the Bluetooth connection to the car radio, no, it just doesn't do that.

If you mean something else, please give us the details.
