I have a red mark showing up in the middle of my camera display. How can i fix this?

There is a red transparent mark that shows up in the center of my main camera. Quite large. Like a streak that fades. Even when the lense is blacked out/covered. It showed up after I left the phone out in the sun for a prolonged period of time so I hope its not permanent sun damage or something as I recently got this phone brand new. Honor 7

Unfortunately when you expose the sensor to a very bright light source for a very long period of time you can get either 'hot pixels' or permanently damaged ones (burnt)... If it's just a temporary thing, you should be able to eventually get back the image by cycling the sensor through different pictures (preferably through different solid colors), but there's no guarantee that they'll be fixed or how long it would take (but if it IS working you should see a difference in the spot, at least, after a few cycles).
