Are you unable to swipe to answer the call or do you not have enough time to answer the call?
If you're having trouble with the swipe, is it that it's not responding properly?
If you don't have enough time, you'd have to see if your carrier can extend the ring time before voicemail answers, changing the phone app is not going to change that.
