My phone doesn't connect to mobile data

[Android Central Question]

I know these question has been answered thousand times before, but I can't find a solution that works for me.

I have a Moto G5 Plus and when I turn my data on it doesn't connect to it. It just keeps working as if it was off. Sms and calls work, and even in the mobile data part it says my telephone company.

I already restarted it and tried the APN solution, but nothing works. I also had a phone update yesterday, don't know if that could have something to do with it.

Welcome to Android Central! What's the exact model number of your G5 Plus, and which carrier are you using? Have you already asked your carrier about this?
