When answering a call or making a call the person on the other side can not hear me at all. I can hear them fine. Any suggestions on how to fix this? I do not wish to do a factory restore as I have been reading about this bug and seems like that is not working. I have tried everything possibly, restarting multiple times, turning off and then turning back on, I made sure that all of my updates are up to date. I can use the phone on speaker mode and it works just fine. My phone is just a bit over a year old. This is very frustrating for the amount of money spent for these phones. Please Help!

Welcome to Android Central! First, make sure the primary phone mic opening isn't blocked (e.g., by a poorly fitting case, or by lint clogging the opening). If it looks clear, then see if it still happens in Safe Mode: https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-34283

Fwiw, in using the s7, s8, and s9, I get people who say that the voice call is worse to hear if I call them on the S8.
