Why does my microphone not work?

I have a LG-TP260 phone for around a year. Today I dropped some water on the screen of my phone but it wasent much then later on I realized when I take a video you cant even hear what Im saying or other noises. The only thing that you can hear sound kind of a static. I dont know what to do because others cant see the videos I take because of it what should I do?

You could bring the phone to a repair shop and ask them for an estimate, but you can get a new one for less than $100 (on eBay) and that's probably less than it would cost to get it repaired. (If you're willing to settle for gently used, you can probably find them in the $20-$50 range.)
