    Looks like a New York State number. Could just be a wrong number. Could be a scammer. Could be just about anybody. If you didn't answer and they didn't leave a message, then I wouldn't worry about it. If you don't recognize the number, it's best to let it go to voicemail, in my opinion.

    With the number spoofing that is going on these days, it's most likely a spam call. My dad has even gotten a spam call on his house phone, with the caller ID reporting his own number.

    Yep, sounds like a scammer. I receive several per week, and the number always has the same area code and exchange as my number.
