Why is my phone getting google play adds

Hi Have tired to get rid of these. I type a message and the stupid google play pops up. it is constantly causing issue, I can't type a txt without being interrupted.

Samsung S8 I have tried to delete/uninstall apps - don't work
Download app blockers - don't work

HELP! I am about to get rid of a completely good phone and off to apple

Welcome to Android Central! Remember, it's not Google who's responsible here. You most likely installed something that carries adware. Uninstall apps one by one until the problem goes away. Also, before you install an app, look through its reviews to see if anyone complains about ads.
