Why my phone. Reboots suddently and says android is starting

[Android Central Question]

My current phone zenfone 3 max suddently hanged and it was all blank and came up with android is starting and starting apps for more than 2 hours and also while rebooting it takes a long time to on.

Welcome to Android Central! Did it finally get to the homescreen, or has it been stuck at the Starting Apps message? Does it say "Optimizing App 1 of 1"?
