Why has my settings icon gone from my samsung tablet?

[Android Central Question]

Opened tablet connect to WiFi but no settings icon available. Tried shutting down & re starting but still same.
How do I restore settings?

Welcome to Android Central! If you're asking about the main System Settings icon, open your App Drawer and look there. If you don't see it at first, look inside a folder (if the App Drawer has folders) -- it might be in a folder called Samsung or System.
