Best place to get new Pixel 1?

I'm thinking of making the switch from my Moto X 2nd Gen with Republic Wireless to the Pixel 1 with Google Fi. It looks like prices have dropped drastically since the Pixel 2 release and upcoming Pixel 3 release.

Where is the best place to pick up a new Pixel 1 right now? Also, would you trust a certified refurbished Pixel 1 from Amazon? Thanks in advance!

You don't get a phone from Amazon, you get it from one of their "partners". I've gotten good phones from some of them and non-working phones from others. (But Amazon is good - if the seller won't rake a defective phone back for a refund, Amazon will.)

But I wouldn't trust a "refurb". Some of them are just "someone took the phone, tried it for a few hours, didn't like it and returned it", some are water-damaged, and not "refurbished" at all.

is Apple devices, but Android "refurbishers" can be just as bad - and what she's showing is mild corrosion.
