Phone number no longer works after factory reset

I recently factory reset my phone as I believed it had a virus, after doing so the phone number that my phone had before the reset no longer works. When I try calling the phone it doesn’t do anything. Before resetting I was informed that this shouldn’t happen. What have I done and how can I fix this?

In Settings > System > About Phone > Status > IMEI Information (based on my Pixel 2 XL running Oreo since you don't say what device you have) is there actual IMEI info presented? How about in SIM Status?
