relatively recently, my LG Optimus Exceed 2, running OS 4.4.2, has taken to always showing the PIN pad whenever I tap on, press Home or Power buttons. previously, of course, you had to tap the area to display the pad. i have a pretty picture on my lock that I'd like to see more of whenever I check the time so this is kinda annoying, particularly since it's not how it normally works/worked.
has anyone had this problem before, too, and how can I fix it? I've checked everything under Settings, including Developer Options, in case I accidentally checked something. I had recently installed an application to replace my busted hardware buttons -- Virtual SoftKeys -- but I disabled it in favor of another, Menu Button. I'm uncertain of the timeline, if that's the culprit.
