Samsung LevelU Pro doesn't announce call?!

When I first bought the Samsung LevelU Pro, I had the Galaxy S7. The name of the caller, as well as my phone ring tone ( a song, not a generic tone) would play. I bought the GS9+, and when I connected my LevelU Pro, it doesn't announce the name, nor does it play the ring tone. My phone will play the ring tone, but in the headset, it just vibrates, plays its own generic chime, and says "incoming call". I would think that the GS9 is more advanced than the GS7... Please help!
