If I take a photo from the lock screen of my android phone, where does it go?

Same as all screenshots go: the Screenshots folder. This would depend on the phone you have, but most do save to a 'Screenshots' folder (some save them directly to the Camera folder).

I read the OP as using a camera shortcut from the lock screen, which many phones offer. But in either case, the photo/screen shot should save to the same location it would normally save to.
