See if this solution works for battery draining issue

I have had the problem of the rapidly draining battery. I replaced the battery but the problem persists. Recently I found that the USB connector in the phone has become worn and a little deformed over time. I suspected that this may be shorting out the battery. So I connected a mini cable USB to the phone and just left it in place and the battery draining problem was reduced drastically. You have to make sure you don’t bend the connector as you connect the cable. This may take a couple of tries to get it just right. So now What I have done is Connected a 90° mini USB adapter to the phone and just left in place. When time to charge the phone I connect to the mini adapter rather than the phone usb connection directly. so far this has solve my problem. Give it a try!
