How to stop this purple color from spreading on amoled screen?

There's a small smudge of purple, almost like an ink splatter on my one plus 3t's display. I read that it's caused due to some liquid leaking,but idk. There's no apparent damage on the screen, phone has good protection and hasn't been dropped hard recently.. is there any way to stop this from taking over my whole screen?

No. You’ll need a new display.

What you read is right - it's a liquid crystal display, you broke some of the (very tiny) tubes in it, and the liquid is leaking out.

As belodion said, you'll need a new display. Stopping the purple from taking over the whole display would cost more than a case of new phones. (If it could even be done - that depends on the nature of the breakage - if the tubes are splitting, no one could do anything to stop it. If not, microsurgery - meaning a very experienced display technician using a stereo microscope, a robot manipulator and a lot of work might be able to save it - for a few tens of thousands of dollars.)
