    Hi,

I'm using a HTC One M9 on Android 6.0, cannot update any apps or systems as the 'system' file is taking up all of the internal memory (almost 30Gb of the 32Gb available!). I've moved all 3rd party apps, music and images to an SD card but still cannot do anything.

Is this a design error from using new software on a (relatively) old phone or is there a solution?

    Relatively un-technically minded user...

Try a Cache Partition wipe. Tell us what that does.
