Android Central Question

I gave an iPad to someone. I want the iPad device out of my gmail account. i followed the steps but instead of coming to "Remove Device" i got "erase device", which I said yes. I want to ensure that this iPad has nothing to do with my accounts or anything associated with my gmail address, etc.
Did "erase" do the job? Or, do I have to still find "remove"? If so how?

THANK YOU.

Welcome to Android Central! Where in your Google account did you find the "Erase Device" option? Are you sure it was a Google option, or was it part of the iPad system menu?

If you had your Gmail account in your email app, it may still be there.

Are you sure it was an iPad? An Apple device? Not all tablets are iPads.
