So i bought the Huawei P8 Lite 2017 on May 25th this year (2018), Great experience, untill a few days ago. The screen started malfunctioning when set on the lowest brightness. It sort of looks like the screen is duplicating when i swipe quickly over something, and approximately 2 cm / 0.7 inches looks glitchy and is covered by the lock screen clock on the bottom of my screen. But whenever i put the brightness a little higher there are no problems, since I'm the battery-saving kind of guy, i always have my phone on low brightness. I tried uninstalling some applications to see if this caused it, but no. Decided to do a factory reset, the problem is still there. Any help is appreciated.

Really low brightness can cause problems. Use Google Assistant to set it to 10% or 15%. (Just say "set screen to 10%".)
