Hello, I just bought my Samsung Note 9, and I LOVE it! However, the only thing I can't figure out is how to add a signature line to my text messages. (My name and company) so people know who the text is coming from, without me having to type it in everytime for new people?

I tried looking up this answer online, but the one site had directions that didn't work for me because it said I had to find some "shortcut text" or something like that, which is not an option on my phone. Please include your answer in an email to me at [removed by moderator] Thank you!

Welcome to Android Central! Most SMS apps don't have this as an option. There might be a 3rd party SMS app that includes a signature option, like Handcent Next SMS.

It's not really a "signature", though, it's just whatever you enter as your "signature" gets added to the end of your text. SMS protocol has no signature.
