Can't Enable Gboard

[Android Central Question]

Dowloaded and installed Gboard on S7 Active. Can not complete install as the system won't let me. Whatever I try, Gboard doesn't show as a selection, even though it's installed. Any ideas?

Installed it from Play, or from somewhere else?

If from Play, Settings/System/Languages & Keyboard.

If from somewhere else, uninstall it, then install it from Play and do the same thing if needed.
