Samsung note 5 left in car
I left my phone in my car thinking it was inside my house. When I found it or clearly overheated. However now my screen will not turn on. I tried letting it cool and holding the buttons, like I've read sometimes works, bit still nothing. The indicator light is blinking as if I have a message and I was vibrating as if I was receiving a message so I know it's not the battery. My question is...can my screen get damaged from being left in a hot car? It's 104 where I live.
Re: Samsung note 5 left in car
Welcome to Android Central! Yes, overheating can potentially damage the screen, especially since an outside temp of 104F can make the temp in the car get to 170F or so. Does the phone ring if you call it? If so, force a shutdown by pressing and holding Power and Vol Down for about 20 seconds. Then let it sit for a few hours, and then try powering on again. Is the screen still blank?
