Why does my connection stop working/time out all the time?

[Android Central Question]

I've tried using a dedicated IP, reset network connection, and restarted my router. I've factory reset the phone about 4 times. Sometimes it would work for about a minute and then just revert back to the way it was. I've scoured the internet looking for a solution and found many people having the same problem, but there was clear answer. Just people basically saying to do something that I've already tried multiple times. Hoping i can get help here.

Welcome to Android Central! More details would help, starting with which device you have. Is this only with wi-fi, or also with mobile data? Does the same thing happen with any wi-fi network, or just your home network?
