Unable to access Outlook using Samsung Galaxy S3 mini

[Android Central Question]

I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 mini which no longer allows me to access my e mails. I have been told that since a software upgrade my phone no longer works on the phone. What are my options, I do not want to buy a new phone as I do not use it a great deal.

Welcome to Android Central! How were you accessing Outlook on the phone? Were you using the Outlook app? Or were you using the stock Email app? Who's the email provider that you use in Outlook?
