Why does google return search results from india or Australia?

[Android Central Question]

I am using Samsung android phone and every single Google product I have chrome , search and news all return articles and web results for either India or Australia. All my settings are set to UK and English. I've reset uninstalled and cleared data and cache. It make no difference. Also my ip location always says greater London or private. I am so annoyed frustrated and fed up because Google haven't replied to me after 6 emails and feedbacks. I just was not to know what's going on as I'm worried I have a virus or have been hacked? Any advice would be greatly appreciated

If it's an Asian phone, it would probably go to an Asian Google server.

Welcome to Android Central! You should probably be reaching out to Samsung for support, not Google.

Does this happen on both wi-fi and mobile data? Are you using a VPN?
