How to remove linkedin prompting messages on my samsung j3 cell?

I installed linkedin app on my cell, and it's propting me with too many messages. I could not remove the app, as I do not see it.

Welcome to Android Central! The app should be in your App Drawer -- is that where you're looking, or only your homescreen? Once you've found it, open it and go to its settings to see how much you can adjust your notifications.
