Android Central Question

I have an LG V20 and am on Verizon. I have a contact that when I try to delete it shows "invalid id" and can't be deleted. This particular contact isn't being backed up to Verizon or to Google contacts. How do I get it off my Phone? Thanks

I have the same problem. In fact, I have a whole lot of contact where I can't edit them and get "Invalid ID" when trying to delete them.

There's an app called Contact Remover that will let me delete them but first I have to figure out which ones are broken.

It keeps my car from downloading my contact list.

Welcome to Android Central! Are all of your contacts saved to your Google Contacts in the cloud? If so, go to Settings>Apps, tap Menu>Show System, select Contact Storage, then Clear Cache/Clear Data. Now open your Contacts app again and give it a few seconds to re-sync with your Google Contacts in the cloud. Any stray local data should've been cleared out.
