    What device? Some manufacturers have the tools readily available to re-flash an old version. Of course - you will get nagged to update (including possibly being forced depending on the device) and you will no longer receive security patches on the old version.

    And you'll lose all your data, installed apps, pictures, music, etc. There's no "downdate" path, only an update path. "Downdating" is replacing the entire Android installation with the older one.
