Why can't I change my ring tone?

[Android Central Question]

I have a Samsung Galaxy J3 Luna Pro and I get ringtones/notification tones from the Zedge app.
I was able to change my Text Notification tone with a sound from Zedge but I've tried to change my Ringtone Notification to a sound from Zedge and each time it says "Unfortunately, Settings has stopped."
I'm doing Sounds and Vibration, Ringtone, +Add from Device Storage (from the choices), It brings up the list of sounds I've saved & I choose one, It says Set Sound (We are about to set (name of sound) to your phone, I click Ok and then it says Settings has stopped.
Any clues?

Welcome to Android Central! Is the ringtone file in the /Ringtones directory? Instead of using the Zedge app to download the ringtone, try downloading it from the Zedge.net website instead using your browser, and then move that sound file to the /Ringtones directory. Does it work now?

Also, make sure the sound file is saved to Internal Storage, not the SD card.
