Android Central Question

I enabled a screen lock with a password on my LG K20, Android 7.0. Cannot turn it off now. Everywhere I look it says go to setting/security/screen lock & select none. This option i dont have. On my phone it has settings/fingerprints & security/secure startup (protect your phone with a lock when it powers on) which is off. But i still always have to put a password every time after the screen goes black. How to stop this ?

Instead of the security settings, go into the main settings screen and look for the Lock Screen option. On my LGV20, the screen lock option is at the top of the list. Select that and enter your current PIN/password. In the following screen, you should have the option to select what you want.Capture%2B_2018-09-28-09-10-00.jpgCapture%2B_2018-09-28-09-13-42.jpgCapture%2B_2018-09-28-09-09-08.jpg

I just enabled the unlock with PIN feature, but now want to disable it. When I go to the Screen Lock menu, the "None" and "Swipe" options are grayed out. Any ideas?

Thanks!

UPDATE: I figured it out...the Outlook app was controlling that feature.
