Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? Leave it plugged into a wall outlet for at least 6 hours undisturbed, then try powering on again by pressing and holding Power for at least 20 seconds.

Don't make a habit of draining your phone that much. Frequent deep discharges will shorten your battery's overall lifespan. In general, try to recharge when the phone reaches 30-40%.

Discharging to "0%" can out the battery into a state that needs a precharge, and most phones can't precharge. When we could remove the battery, there were external chargers that could (and they weren't expensive - I have 2 that cost a total of about $5).

Using a phone until it's actually at 0 voltage - do you remember the Note 7? That's what happens if you charge a battery like that. The phone's charging circuit won't allow you to. I've seen some of the results (in a lab, under safe conditions). If you're holding the phone when it happens, you'll most likely lose about your entire hand, right to the wrist. Charging a fully discharged (not 0% - that's a bit over 3 Volts) lithium battery is triggering a bomb with no time delay,
