I am an Expat in Africa and bought this phone here, it is the C9000 TGY version, but the model version is not to be found online and there are no updates since Android 6.0.1.
C9000/TGY/C9000ZHU1APC1/C9000ZZH1AQC1/C9000ZHU1AQC1/C9000ZHU1APC1
Can i Use Hong Kong Oreo Update C9000ZHU1CRG9?

In Phone Info App, it says manufactured in China, and that is original but the Knox warranty is VOID

It does not have original CSC (Blank), only the active one (TGY -Hong Kong)

Not sure if updating via ODIN is the best way to go

Knox void 0x1 or 1x1? 0x1 is "not void".

I wouldn't flash a ROM for another country (especially for Hong Kong, unless you can read Cantonese) - the wrong country ROM could brick the phone.

Odin would be the best way to go if a) you could find the right ROM and b) you don't mind backing everything up, then restoring it after flashing.
